renoarchsnowI do a weekly search of Reno building permits.  It focuses primarily on Downtown / Midtown activity, but also includes large or interesting permits elsewhere in Reno.

There are some VERY interesting permits this week, including a $3.5M renovation to the public spaces at Meadowood Mall (pay toilets, with the revenue going to the Ballpark Bond?), a $882,282 Mechanical Remodel at 255 NVA – the building formerly known as CommRow, and  the Reno Collective at 100 Arlington.  If you are interested in receiving the weekly updates, email me at macnv@charter.net to be added to the distribution list.

-        255 NVA – $882,828 Mechanical Remodel at the building formerly known as CommRow.  Wow, they are actually serious this time.

-        80 1st Street – 21,500 TI, 2nd floor offices at the Palladio.

-        100 Arlington – $23,453 Interior Demolition.  This is the retail space facing 1st Street, and the “owner” shows as California Credit Union.  The new tenant is the Reno Collective, a thriving co-working space.  Now if we could just get some improvements to the Truckee River Lane building across the street…..

-        35 Linden @ SVA – $12,000 Remodel.

-        1450 Idlewild – 9 Water Damage Repair permits ranging from $3-5000.  Frozen pipes?

-        250 Pueblo – $800 Electric Service Change.

-        533 Taylor – $60 Temporary Power – this usually indicates a lot more work to follow.

-        221 High Street – $1500 Electric Service Change.

-        655 Spokane – $2800 Fence.

-        408 Crampton – $1037 Furnace.

-        761 California – $$600 Gas Line on Mansion Row.

-        1190 Brown – $10,000 Furnace.

-        4080 Mayberry – $380,000 New SFR.  This lot is one of 3 that will be a family compound, tucked behind Roy Gomm.

-        1250 Watt – $3365 Water Heater.

-        1135 Hardesty – $10,200 Remodel.

-        951 Watt – $12,000 Remodel BLD13-03083.  Our friends the Marmots.
